It is the third time that we have been to White House Country Cottages and we will definitely go back. It is a lovely relaxed atmosphere but with plenty for my 6 year old daughter to do. Where the park is situated is ideal for visiting York and other places. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food at the local pub is excellent. Would recommend this holiday to anyone.

Although self-contained there were towels, soap, cleaning detergent present.
Also a small quantity of tea, sugar etc. well appreciated!

It was the perfect location for touring North Yorkshire. You have York on your doorstep and the coast less than an hour away, we also enjoyed visiting the small villages and towns which are full of character. An ideal base for mixed families - a pool for children and a quiet location for grandparents. The cottage was ideally sized and had everything you would want away from home.

Would really recommend the White rose cottages to anyone. Ideal for families, nice friendly staff and good quality food on site at pub. Our second year in a row.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you needed for a family break. The area around Thirsk was beautiful, there was a lot of places to visit, enough to keep a family occupied for the entire visit. The staff were very friendly and we would love to go back for another break.
